This recent (April 2003) commission is an gift from three children to their parents on their 47th wedding anniversary. It shows the couples Rhode Island property where the entire family still gathers as much as possible. Details include the family cats, kayaks, topiary juniper and glorious vegetable garden. Here's a recent illustration of the Duxbury Bridge, in Duxbury Massachusetts, created in October 2002. My parents recently traveled to Holland, where they fell in love with the architecture, people, atmosphere. It was a trip, and feeling, I wanted them to remember, so I secretly borrowed a couple of the street scenes and horse carriages from their photos and created this special memory for them of not only the trip, but of me! I grew up by the ocean in Marshfield, Massachusetts, and currently live with my family in Scituate , also in Massachusetts.
