The inclusion of a Rufous Sided Towhee to their collective "lifelist" made this the perfect reminder of this beloved family activity. Cardinals are a New England classic, and a staple in Diannes bird illustrations. Though Dianne has created several Cardinal illustrations, she brings a uniqueness to every commission, a perfect example of this diversity is the example included in the homepage banner. This Downy Woodpecker is actively seeking lunch...Dianne caught him in the act, and captured him in this beautiful rendering. Have a favorite bird and a favorite tree or flower?
