A commissioned work which incorporates the owners' three dogs, and a stylized backdrop of property beloved by the wife. I worked from three several photos of the dogs and the location. This portrait was a gift to her husband and is especially poignant as two of the three dogs shown have since died. But their memory will always be with this dog loving couple. This series above will illustrate the creative process involved in creating your art. First I am either supplied a photograph/s, or in some instances I photograph the subject personally. Once I have the photographic reference, I can begin to create the pencil sketches which can be emailed for approval then refined through a discussion and reworking. If needed, a final sketch is also sent. Once the final sketch is appoved the final artwork is created and shipped....ready to grace your home! Customizing items for the home can give it a pulled together look. To create the design on this fireplace bucket I took a floral print from a piece of fabric and painted it freehand onto the pre existing, but unspectacular bucket.
